John Bierfeldt has been with Acosta for 22 years and makes it his mission every day to drive associate engagement. He made his home office in Marlborough a fun and exciting place to work by bridging the gap between tenured and newer associates. He created a task force called “One Big Idea” to brainstorm and help launch multiple events, meetings and networking opportunities for everyone in the office to participate in.

“John is a champion for all associates in the Marlborough, Mass., office and the entire east coast. His overall attitude and commitment to the success of Acosta and our people is clear in his day-to-day operations,” said Christian Carpino, Business Manager, Marlborough. “He continues to get myself and my peers involved with everything in the office. He makes us feel like we are important, that we matter and that we actually move the dial and contribute to the bottom number.”

One such event John created was called “My Acosta Story” in which newer associates were given the opportunity to sit down with tenured associates and hear more about how, why and what motivates them to stay and continue pouring into Acosta’s success. These meetings were incredibly successful and inspiring.
