Acosta associates do their part to Keep Irving Beautiful
On Friday, April 19, 55 Acosta and Mosaic associates from the Dallas office volunteered their time with “Keep Irving Beautiful” in a service project to clean up Irving’s Running Bear Creek Park. The volunteers put in a combined effort of over 224 hours of service as a part of the Acosta Cares outreach initiative. Volunteers repainted three gazeboes, an archway structure, and fencing that runs along the park.
After the hard work of painting, the group enjoyed hot dogs, hamburgers and great company. And of course, there were some competitive basketball and volleyball games. To finish the day off, the extra food was delivered to the homeless population in downtown Fort Worth, Texas.
Acosta has partnered with Keep Irving Beautiful since 2013 and has worked on improving multiple parks since then.
“We are so fortunate that we have a very active and engaged corporate community in Irving,” said Scott Wilson, Keep Irving Beautiful board member. “The Acosta/Mosaic team is an excellent example of a company that values volunteerism. The group is always a pleasure to work with, and we all look forward to this annual service day.”
Thank you to everyone for the participation and the amazing teamwork to get the job done!
