A sweet celebration for Hostess’s most popular treat

On April 5, Acosta associates, along with 800 Twinkies® fans, celebrated National Twinkies Day at Kroger’s headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio. People from all over town joined in the fun! Even Twinkie the Kid, the Hostess mascot, made an appearance with his own personal photo booth. The festivities came just one month after Hostess celebrated their 100th birthday.

Everyone who stopped by had the opportunity to win a Twinkie the Kid action figure by using the hashtag #NationalTwinkiesDay on social media. The action figures and Twinkies went fast. After only an hour and a half of pictures and good food, Hostess was down to their last case!

Last year, thanks to the help of the Acosta-Kroger Team, Hostess participated in two lobby events at the Kroger headquarters and will participate in four this year. Kroger has always been a huge supporter and Hostess is consistently a big hit in the building!
